Cyberchase: Daughterboard and Gadget

Description

Before I begin, I would just like two to say two things; 1#, Cyberchase is one of my all-time favorite cartoons [#14 in the Top-14]; and #2, it really REALLY pains me to say that my favorite PBS cartoon has gotten IMMENSELY stupid in recent years. The animation is now @#$% and incredibly cheap-looking, the stories are mundane, head-scratching, and stupid, and the show has lost any amount of credibility it had when I fist started watching it. (and you call that two-parter 'Cyberchase: The Movie'?! REALLY!?!)

That said, a few years ago I came up with this idea; a continuation of the series [that goes back to the animation of better quality] and introduces a new lead villain (seen above) Enter; Daughterboard.

At some point after the alleged Cyberchase Movie, Hacker goes back to his more villainous routes and decides to wipe out Motherboard once and for all with another virus (he figures that two viruses in her system will destroy her mainframe) Though he couldn't replicate the exact virus he used the first time, so he created a new one.

However, right at that time, Motherbaord and Doctor Marbles [remember him?] have since realized that Mother-B's virus may never be cured and thus could permanently cripple her further at any time; so they've secretly elected to create a backup program of her, should that happen, and one with better virus-protection.

Just then, Hacker shows up and delivers the new virus, but somehow through a sender error -perhaps due to MB's current virus, it winds up going to the backup program instead. And instead of crippling the backup, it's collision with the anti-virus ware caused it to reintegrate into a physical form, the personality also somehow off kilter.

As Hacker watches from above in seething disbelief, accusing Buzz and Delete of bungling his plan (again) Motherboard and Marbles watch in awe as the backup manifests itself -or rather, herself. Almost immediately 'Daughterboard' decides for almost no reason to run off, stealing the Grim Reeker II from the episode "Find Those Gleemers!" [yes, they've had it all this time] MB sends the Cybersquad to find her and try to bring her back, but the end result only solidifies her as a villain due to Hacker's intervention -him offering for her to join him in his crusade of evil and chaos throughout the mission, and her deciding that she'd rather be an independent villain.

Later on she realizes that doing so is easier said than done and tries to take Hacker up on his offer, but the Scourge of Cyberspace just drops her out of the Grim Reeker with a grin into some trees as it flies off. With that, Daughterboard dons a purple trench-coat (to spite Hacker) and decides that she needs a henchman of her own: Enter; Gadget.

Before being literally dropped from the conversation and into some random woods, Daughterboard managed to swipe the original building plans for Digit and uses them to build a cybird of her own.

Gadget is Digit, Buzz, and Delete all thrown together with all their faults removed; a cybervulture with a ruthless attitude, he's loyal only to his creator and loves making anyone he can miserable, especially Digit. He has no fear of hights -or fear of anything, for that matter, and his prop never breaks, nor does his beak get bent out of shape -Daughterboard saw to that.

Some time later on, she also creates evil clones of the kids, though they have red eyes, grey skin, werewolf fangs, and claws. Though they're not quite as effective as Gadget.
